Veteran singer Chance Nalubega recounts spending several nights at Pride Theater Backstage before achieving a breakthrough with one of her hit songs.
During an interview with media personality Kasuku, Chance Nalubega revealed that she had been evicted from her house due to unpaid rent.
With limited alternatives at her disposal, she found solace at the backstage of the Pride Theatre, as she was then signed under the Pride Theatre Academy.
Nalubega emphasized her vulnerability as a woman sleeping alone in a large theatre at night. However, she expressed gratitude for surviving unharmed, attributing it to the grace of God.
Despite the challenging circumstances, she created her first hit song after spending three weeks sleeping at the theatre. This achievement also marked her as the first star of Pride Academy.
