Veteran singer Gerard Muwonge alias Clever J left Pastor Bugembe’s church in an ecstatic mode upon being rewarded with Ugx 2.7M.
Over the weekend, Clever J and events promoter Bajjo Clear Process got time off their busy schedule and paid a maiden visit to Pasto Bugembe’s church in Nansana.
During the church service, Clever J shared some of the manifestations of God in his life that have occurred since he embraced him as his personal saviour.
Clever J explained how his wife left the marriage, taking one of his children with her, and leaving him with Jeremiah, whom he presently lives with.
The singer also pointed out that ever since he lost his musical grip, life has never been safe, as he resorted to bricklaying as his primary revenue stream.
In response to Clever J’s tragic tale, Pastor Bugembe promised to give him Ugx 1 million and pleaded with the congregation to as well give whatever they could to improve the “Manzi Wa’nani” crooner’s well-being and at the end of the soliciting, the singer had amassed around Ugx 2.7m.

Pastor Bugembe later prayed for Clever J and invoked God’s blessings unto him ahead of his forthcoming concert at Lugogo.
