Comedian Kapere Lufotose dragged to court over unpaid Ugx 1M debt

Local comedian Kapere Lufotose has been dragged to court over his failure to clear a Ugx 1M debt.

At the start of this year, Kapere Lufotose borrowed money from Tata Kadiba worth Ugx 1M to stage a show on February 14th Valentine’s Day.

At the show, singers Haruna Mubiru, Stabua Natooro, and the late Adam Mulwana were lined up to thrill revelers.

Unfortunately, Haruna’ Mubiru’s colleague and work partner Adam Mulwana’s death two days before the show fathered doubts among revelers, who seemingly assumed Haruna would be a no-show at the event, hence registering a low turnout.

This saw Kapere Lufotose collect only Ugx 1.2M from the show, marking a financial loss, hence his inability to pay some of the debts he had acquired to stage the show.
