Renowned gospel singer Coopy Bly has shared how a simple apology saved veteran gospel singer Denis Lanek from imprisonment and coughing Ugx 280M for damages that were inflicted.
While attending fellow gospel singer Damasco’s press conference for the forthcoming Voices of the Angels concert, Coopy Bly expressed disappointment with Lanek’s conduct in the gospel music industry.
Coopy revealed that a while back, Lanek targeted him, and made defamatory remarks that not only tainted his reputation but also affected his family.
Rubbed the wrong way, Coopy Bly sought legal action, and Lanek was served with a court summon to be held accountable for his actions.
Lanek was instructed to present evidence substantiating his claims against Coopy Bly and the failure he was to compensate the complainant Ugx 280M.
Lanek swiftly apologized and was instructed to do so across several media outlets, which he complied with.

He was pardoned and cautioned against making negative criticism about Coopy, or he would face the repercussions.
