The Double Black is a renowned band from Swangz Avenue that specializes in premium content.
They are known for their intricate instrumentation, catchy melodies, unexpected intros, and energetic live performances.
The band was formed in 2022 and consists of Ernest on bass guitar, Emong on drums, and Fidel on electric guitar. Currently, they are working on an EP which is set to be released in June.
The Double Black has had several notable performances, including being the official band for Azawi’s Maiden Concert in 2021 and 2023, as well as the official band for Winnie Nwagi’s Fire concert.
They have also played for various artists such as Mun G, Nutty Neithan at Roast and Rhyme, and Ykee Benda at Jameson and Friends, among others.
Additionally, they have a monthly show at Kush Lounge and have been the official band for Elijah Kitaka’s listening party and Blankets & Wine performance.
