Eddy Kenzo vows to help Kemi Sera overcome challenges in South Africa and safely return to Uganda

Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) and presidential advisor on creatives has committed to helping fellow singer Kemi Sera return to Uganda following life challenges in a foreign land.

A few days back a video depicting Kemi Sera pleading for help from Ugandans surfaced on social media, after being shot at and robbed of her belongings.

Kemi Sera revealed that following a romantic involvement with an unidentified, he convinced her to travel to South Africa, promising her a better life.

However, while in South Africa, the man made off with her passport, identification card, and the money she had on her.

She reached out to her longtime friend Mary Bata with whom they had fallen out while she was still in Uganda. Mary Bata offered her financial support unfortunately she was shot at and robbed ending up using the little she had to foot her medical expenses.

It is at this point that Kemi Sera urged Ugandans to help her out of the challenging situation. Upon crossing paths with the news, Eddy Kenzo vowed to link up with Mary Bata for a detailed report about Kemi Sera.

Eddy Kenzo acknowledged Kemi’s good conduct, stressing that he will involve the secretariate who will address the matter immediately.
