Frank Walusimbi Acquires New Role At UNHCR After NTV Departure

On 28th April 2022, former NTV news anchor Frank Walusimbi resigned from his duties at the Serena-based station after 15 years.
The celebrated media personality bid farewell to his workmates at the station after conducting his last evening news bulletin.
He refrained from revealing his next move, leaving folks speculating that he was poached by NTV’s rival media outlets.
Others, however, had a clue that the veteran journalist had joined the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
On 15th May 2022, Frank Walusimbi through his socials officially announced that he had acquired a role as Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Frank noted that his pristine role with UNHCR is spanned by humanitarian work, inviting folks to make contact in case of any inquiry regarding refugee matters.
Upon sharing the exciting news on his social media platforms, his former workmates, fans, and followers were so quick to congratulate him on his new career path.
This is to let you know that I took on a new role as Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR – the UN refugee agency in Uganda.
For some days now, I have been fathoming out the appreciation and best wishes you sent out to me when I announced that I had ceased my duties at NTV Uganda.
