NBS’ renowned journalist Hatmah Nalugwa recently voiced her dissatisfaction regarding the comparisons being made between her and her former workmate Faridah Nakazibwe.
During an interview with Ruth Kalibbala, Hatmah Nalugwa shared how she had been subjected to numerous comparisons by online users in the past.
She emphasized that these comparisons were hurtful to her, considering that both she and Faridah had their own unique strengths and weaknesses.
Hatima further disclosed that when she used to fill in for Faridah Nakazibwe on her show, she faced criticism from many who believed she couldn’t match Faridah’s level of expertise.
Nevertheless, despite facing criticism, Hatmah Nalugwa eventually grew accustomed to it and learned to ignore the negative comments, enabling her to focus on delivering her best work.

She also emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating the individual talents and contributions of each journalist, rather than pitting them against each other in a competition.
