Mukono Municipality member of parliament Hon. Betty Nambooze Bakireke and her husband Mukasa Henry Bakireke commemorate 20 years of holly marriage.
In November 2002, Betty Nambooze officiated her marriage with Henry Bakireke whom she met in the 1980s during high school.
In the 20 years duration of their marriage, the pair expanded their family with 26 children, both biological and adopted.
Earlier today, Nambooze turned to her socials, after getting her husband’s consent to announce their anniversary festivities.
There, she revealed that their 20 years of marriage have been characterized by Love, Peace, Patience, un-imaginable fascination, romance, and pleasant company with one another.
The outspoken MP dedicated this year’s anniversary to their children, some of whom are married and the young ones who are pursuing the same path.

Additionally, Nambooze devoted this day to the Mukono Municipality’s youth in the same age range as their children.
The development saw the couple’s close friends and well-wishers shower them with congratulatory remarks for reaching this far in their marriage.
