Hypers Kids Africa dance group is over the moon upon YouTube awarding them with a gold plaque button after surpassing over 1 million subscribers.
Hypers Kids Africa is a group of children from the streets of Kampala who chose to use dance as a way of elevating their lives and staying away from violence.
The group joined YouTube in June 2017, which makes it six years of showcasing their talents on the video-sharing platform.
Their talent has seen them broaden their fan base borders, as well as bag global recognition as they recently featured in American rapper 6ix9ine’s music video dubbed ‘Wapae’
As we wind up the year, the kids have hit another tremendous success, having joined the YouTube gold plaque button holders in the country.
With this achievement, the young stars now join the list of most popular YouTube channels in Uganda, which already has names like Masaka Kids Africana, Eddy Kenzo, UG EXTRA COMEDY, Ghetto Kids and Kansiime Anne among others.
