Singer Alexander Bagonza alias A Pass has revealed that he didn’t show up at fellow singer Eddy Kenzo’s concluded festival because he had to sleep.
On 12th November 2022, Eddy Kenzo made history in the Uganda music industry when he held a successful festival at Kololo Airstrip that will live on in the memories of revelers for decades.
The 2023 Grammy award nominee received support from artists of various genres within and outside the country.
Despite the unity portrayed towards the success of Eddy Kenzo’s festival, some artists like APass felt the singer wasn’t worthy of their support.
While addressing the media at Levixon’s sold-out concert, APass revealed that he had to return the favor, because the former occasionally reaches out to him something uncommon with other artists.
Renowned for speaking his mind, APass attributed his failure to grace Eddy Kenzo’s festival because he isn’t his close friend, and the latter didn’t invite him with respect hence napping on the day of the event.
The ”Dada” singer added that musicians should stop thinking that their peers should show up at their gigs without an invitation because they also have obligations to fulfill.
