Irene Namatovu has chosen to live a peaceful and positive life in an industry that is filled with overwhelming criticism and negativity.
The band singer in an interview opened up about her unique approach to dealing with people who do her wrong, or those who hate her.
As a staunch and practicing Catholic woman, Namatovu Namatovu has reasoned that she does not have the time to cling to people with ill feelings against her because she lives a stress-free life. that she does not
“In my life, I never hate other people. I live my free life because I know the same way I have my faults, is the same way some other person has them,” Irene Namatovu said.
The music industry in Uganda is filled with hate and drama with many artists openly hating each other. Irene Namatovu, however, is one of the few artists who have managed to remain drama-free despite being provoked on different occasions. She has not been dragged into any fights or social media drama and she has attributed this to her ability to let go and not dwelling on negativity.
“Even when there is someone who wronged me, I cannot come here and say I’m bothered by it. It hurt me for a few minutes and I let it go. I open up my heart because I’m free. I won’t say I do not get angry; I do but I leave it at that,”

“I can’t afford to get wrinkles at this age. Every time you frown, you look old. I still love my skin looking so beautiful like this,” she concluded.
