Vocalist Karl Famous real name Abdul Karim Bisasso has come out to express his disappointment and accuse his former label-mate, Serena Bata of sabotaging his music career while they were still signed under controversial talent manager, Sipapa Entertainment.
In a video accessed by this website, Karl Famous is seen ranting and seeking answers from the ‘Bikalubye’ hitmaker on why she is still following him and going after his career even after they departed ways many years back.
According to Karl Famous, Serena Bata was at that time involved in a romantic relationship with the label boss, Charles Olim alias Sipapa, and made it a point to frustrate all the artists under the label like Record Elah, Melody, and Lil Pazo because she wanted to have all the favors to herself.
“Why is she following me all the time like I’m the only artist in Uganda signed under Sipapa? You tried to sabotage my career like you would stay under Sipapa forever. Melody, Lil Pazo, and Record Elah all kept quiet but I will not. I will tell the whole world how terrible of a person you are. You keep sending people to threaten me but for how long will you keep that hate you have for me,” he said.
Karl Famous recalls when Serena Bata attempted to block his music from playing anywhere else owing to the hatred she harbored. Every time his song hit the airwaves, and he was not around, she would bitterly switch it off because she did not want him to get any airplay.
Karl Famous also blames Serena Bata for orchestrating his exit from the label, alleging that she practiced witchcraft that made Sipapa drop him.
“People that have always been asking why I left Sipapa’s camp, I want to let them know that it was because of you. You practice witchcraft, very many people can attest to that. You painted a different picture to your fans but you are a terrible person with a very dark heart,” he said.
Serena Bata left Sipapa Entertainment and signed under events promoter Abitex Promotions where she spent two and a half years before being fired from the label. Her career went on a downward spiral and Karl Famous tags it to her dark heart and hate.

“That is why your career flopped under Abitex too. I can’t deny we all fail, but some people do because they are the devil themselves. Serena Bata, for as long as you have that terrible heart, you are still suffering in this world. I do not know what I did to you to the point that you want to ruin my life and sit on my talent,” He angrily warned her to stop mentioning his name and sending people to threaten him.
