Karole Kasita has addressed the trending video depicting her openly snubbing Alien Skin during a recently concluded event.
During the video recording, Alien and Karole Kasita had attended the official opening of Don Chris’s offices, and Karole Kasita, who had come late, was offered a seat at the podium.
On her arrival, she knelt to greet Pastor Wilson Bugembe but not Alien Skin who was seated right next to him. Social media users were so quick to draw conclusions, with many linking the act to their different political ideologies.
Karole Kasita explained that her actions were misinterpreted and contrary to what people think, she actually waved to Alien.
In her explanation, she noted that having come late, she did not get enough time to shake hands with Alien since she did not want to disrupt the event.
“I do politics that affect a person directly but not the politics of hating someone else. Swearing to God; I greeted that boss (Alien Skin) in a way nobody saw. I waved and said ‘hello’ to him. People interpreted my hand signal as snubbing him.
He was seated right next to the pastor and there was no way I would pass my hands and greet the person after him. I do not know what they saw but I greeted him,” she said.
Karole Kasita further refuted the allegations of bad blood between them, revealing that they sat together and chit-chatted throughout the entire event.

“I’m not like that. What he believes in is up to him; maybe he will change tomorrow and support the people. This is actually more reason to make him my friend other than hating on him,” she noted.
The dancehall singer went and discouraged the idea of artists splitting because of their different political affiliations. She instead prefers preaching the truth to each other rather than hating them.
