Singer Lady Mariam best known for her hit song ‘Tindatine’ has poured cold water on allegations of swindling her sister’s money.
In December 2021, Kirungi Swabura dragged Lady Mariam to Kibuli CID police on allegations of the former failing to accomplish the tasks that were assigned to her.
Swabura claims she sent money to her sister during her stay abroad and agreed that the latter purchase a plot of land for the former.
On Swabura’s return to Uganda, Lady Mariam had not used the money as she was designated but instead used it to accomplish her personal interests.
When Lady Mariam realized Swabura was turning into a stone in her shoe, she dispatched policemen to apprehend her.
This left Swabura with no option, but to file a case at Kiburi police headquarters in order for justice to be availed.
