Netizens have praised Mary Bata for still standing with Kemi Sera despite bitterly falling out a few years back.
According to reports, in 2019, Kemi Sera was dumped in a house by her then-man who refused to clear her rent.
As the lockdown approached, she was going through a hard time and none of her friends came through for her until Mary Bata offered to clear the rent that had accumulated for close to four months.
The ‘Salute’ singer brought Kemi Sera into her home which she shared with her man. Mary Bata allegedly took care of her and helped her through the depression that her former life had thrown her into.
It was later that Mary Bata found out that her beloved friend had started a secret affair with her man. The new couple found another place, moved together, and cemented their bond with a child.
Since the man had a place in South Africa, he and Kemi Sera relocated to the foreign land before felling out for reasons best known to them.
Last week, Kemi Sera appeared in a video pleading for help from Ugandans after she was allegedly robbed and shot at while in SA. She confessed that the man she had eloped with lied and ran away with all her documents and the money she had on her.

Following life challenges, Kemi Sera reached out to Mary Bata pleading for financial support which the latter offered putting the grudges at bay.
Following her return to the country yesterday, Kemi Sera expressed gratitude to Mary Bata for her kind personality and apologized for her actions that soured their relationship.
