Western Uganda-based singer Ray G born Muhairwe Reegan has explained why he doesn’t wear his wedding ring.
Ray G and his wife Twinomugisha Annabelle 2021 officially became husband and wife after tying the knot in a wedding presided over by Bishop Sheldon Mwesigwa.
However, ever since they tied the knot, the singer has never appeared with his wedding ring as a clear sign of his marital status.
While appearing in an interview with Galaxy TV, the “Omusheshe” singer explained his decision of not wearing a wedding ring claiming rings were brought by whites, yet he is an African man.
He added that he does not wear his ring to impress anyone, noting that he did not marry the ring, rather what he cares about is his commitment to his marriage with his wife.

The singer maintained that he doesn’t care if his wife doesn’t wear the ring, pointing out that he is assured that their marriage is flourishing.
