Western-based Uganda singer Ray G real name Muhairwe Reegan experienced a distressing incident earlier today at the “Enkuuka” event in Lubiri, Mengo.
This event, which signifies the end of the year and the beginning of the new year, showcases various musicians from across the country performing before the King of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.
Unfortunately, Ray G’s performance did not go as planned, as he was targeted by the audience who threw objects at him.
The intensity of the pelting led the stage manager to abruptly end Ray G’s performance to prevent any further escalation.
This incident is believed to be a result of Ray G’s recent clash with Swangz Avenue singer Azawi during the comedy store event in Mbarara where the former had prevented the latter from performing before him.
This clash seems to have contributed to the negative reception he received at the Enkuuka event.
