Worship House’s Lead pastor, Wilson Bugembe has for the first time met face-to-face with comedian Reign Omusoyisoyi ever since he remixed his song ‘Miracle’, last month.
Addressing members of the press, Reign Omusoyisoyi who was with his partner, Maulana, revealed to the pastor that he was scared of reaching out to ask for his consent before redoing the song claiming he assumed his request would be turned down.
“Let me be open with you, I never alerted you because I did not want to give you an option. Because I knew If I had told you about my desire to redo your song, you would sit and think about it and reject,” Reign said, while asking for forgiveness from Pastor Bugembe.
In Pastor Bugembe’s song version, he begs God to perform a miracle in his life. Reign Omusoyisoyi, however, with the same beats and lyrics goes political, hitting at both the ruling party and some members of the opposition. In his defense, Reign maintains that he got the urge to redo the song in that direction from the Holy Spirit who he claims convicted him to hit the studio and release his version.
During their meeting, Pastor Bugembe confessed to having never had any issues with the comedian but was only bothered by the many phone calls he received from different people, questioning him on his involvement with the new version of the song.
“I was never angry with you, I just wanted to clarify that I was not part of the project. I was receiving calls from people who thought we had agreed with you to redo my song in another format,” he said while shaking hands and laughing at the duo’s jokes.
“Thank you for being a freestyler; you are an artist and at the same time a pastor. We love you because you are too down to earth and when I go to parliament, I promise to give you some money for the song,” he said

After airing out their indifferences, Reign Omusoyisoyi could not stop heaping praises on the youth pastor for being welcoming and associating with everyone.
