Renowned dancer, Nassazi Ritah, famously known as Ritah Dancehall has opened up on the tragic events that saw her try to take her own life because the man she loved so much had broken her heart.
During a candid exclusive interview, Ritah Dancehall identified the mysterious man as Steven who she said was her first cut.
On that fateful day when he dumped her, the dancer claims she lost her mind and bought poison to take her life.
Ritah went as far as penning down a suicide note addressed to her parents, letting them know why she was committing suicide but begged them not to harm Steven because of the too much love she had for him.
Ritah’s irrational decision, however, did not make her grief less painful as she spent close to three days in a coma at the hospital.
Luckily, she survived but blames the attempted suicide on the fact that she was naïve and a vulnerable lover girl who is not afraid of showing it.
“I was in my senior six vacation and it was because of the first guy I loved so much. Surprisingly, there was nothing much he said to me; he just said he was done with me and I walked senselessly on Salaama Road amidst many cars.

I bought poison, and wrote a suicide note begging my parents not to hurt the guy because I loved him so much. I wrote his name and phone number. I’m a Scorpio so I love hard. I’m meant to love and not to be loved. When I tell you that I love you, I mean it,” Ritah said.
