Comedianne Akite Agness is nursing injuries after being assaulted and robbed by thugs. The incident occurred on Friday morning, right after her successful show at Loggin in Najjera.
As she made her way back home, she was ambushed by unidentified criminals who mercilessly attacked her at her gate.
During the assault, the criminals not only inflicted severe injuries on Akite but also stole her personal belongings, including her phone and other valuable items from her bag.
The attack left her with head injuries that required immediate medical attention, and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The injuries were so severe that she needed stitches to close the wounds.
After being discharged from the hospital, Akite is now recovering at home, trying to heal both physically and emotionally from the traumatic incident.
The news of the assault has deeply saddened her colleagues in the comedy industry, who are shocked and appalled by the audacity of the criminals.

Dickson Zizinga, a fellow comedian, expressed his disbelief and questioned if the perpetrators had already profited from their criminal activities.
