Next Media and Talent Africa the organizers of the UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell Concert have issued a press statement dated December 19, 2023, revealing the postponement of the long-awaited concert.
In the statement, the organizers express deep regret and disappointment in announcing the unforeseen postponement of the concert.
Initially scheduled for December 21, 2023, at the Kololo Independence Grounds, this unfortunate delay is due to an unexpected incident at the venue that is beyond our control.
The statement emphasizes that this unexpected turn of events has left the organizers disheartened, and they sincerely apologize to all stakeholders, partners, and customers for any inconvenience caused.
Additionally, the press release mentions that a new date for the NBS At 15 celebration will be communicated shortly, and it is important to note that all tickets purchased for the original concert date will remain valid.

The development comes at the back of the controversy, that surrounded the show, as the original UB40 claimed they weren’t in any way involved in the show in Uganda.
