For the past few days, NBS TV has been tantalizing the Ugandan public with hints about the highly anticipated Next Big Thing, which was finally revealed earlier today.
The Naguru-based media outlet along with other sponsors, have collaborated to bring in one of the most renowned international bands, UB40.
With a career spanning over four decades, UB40 has garnered a massive global following with their unique blend of reggae, pop, and rock music.
Having last thrilled Uganda in 2008 at Lugogo Cricket Oval courtesy of MTN, the band is scheduled to hold another show in the country before the conclusion of the year.
This highly anticipated event will take place at the prestigious Kololo Independence Grounds, a venue known for hosting grand and memorable concerts.
Slated for 21 December 2023, fans can expect an unforgettable evening filled with UB40’s greatest hits, including chart-topping classics like “Red Red Wine,” “Kingston Town,” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
