Renowned events promoter Abitex Promotions real name Abbey Musinguzi has made a significant announcement regarding the upcoming “Enkuuka Y’omwaka” event.
This highly anticipated annual celebration, which was officially launched earlier today at Bulange Mengo, promises to be a night filled with exhilarating performances by some of Uganda’s most talented artists.
However, Abitex Promotions has made the decision to exclude two prominent singers, Alien Skin and Ronald Mayinja, from this year’s event due to their alleged past misconduct.
The “Enkuuka Y’omwaka” event, scheduled to take place on December 31st at the prestigious Lubiri in Mengo, has always been a platform for showcasing the best of Ugandan talent.
With a diverse lineup of artists set to grace the stage, Abitex Promotions had initially included Alien Skin and Ronald Mayinja in their roster.
However, after careful consideration, Abitex has decided to remove them from the lineup, citing concerns over their potentially inappropriate behaviour.
Abitex Promotions firmly believes that Alien Skin and Ronald Mayinja may attempt to pull off disrespectful stunts during their performances, such as pulling down their pants.
Such actions would not only tarnish the reputation of the event but also show a lack of respect towards the Kabaka of Buganda, who will be in attendance.
As a result, Abitex Promotions has taken the necessary steps to ensure that the event maintains its dignity and upholds the values of respect and professionalism.
