Over the weekend, singer Ykee Benda left onlookers stunned after he was involved in a physical fight with security officers just a few minutes before hitting the stage to perform at the recently concluded All VIP Miss Uganda beauty pageant that happened at Kampala Sheraton Hotel Gardens.
It all started when the ‘Malaika’ hitmaker was ordered to put off his hat and go through a security check like everyone else accessing the premises.
Ykee Benda who was in the company of a yet-to-be-identified lady refused to adhere to the standard security procedures for reasons best known to him.
What began as a verbal argument later resulted in a physical fight with punches flying in the air from both parties.
Ykee Benda who was visibly upset during the fight bragged about who he was and threatened to make the officers lose their jobs for embarrassing him in front of the lady and onlookers. On the other hand, his friend was yelling at the top of her voice, insulting their opponents using vulgar language.
After all the drama, Ykee Benda was let into the Hotel Gardens. The head of security who was absent at the time of his entrance, however, was not happy with the fact that they let him in and ordered his boys to rush inside and get him and throw him out of the premises over breach of security rules.

They were not successful as Ykee Benda finally stepped on stage as planned, before delivering an energetic performance.
