Zex Bilangilangi is the latest Ugandan musician to set his eyes on a music festival after a few years of his music career.
Having grown up in the ghettos of Kamwokya, Zex embarked on a serious music career at the of 17 with the aim of using his talent to transform the ghetto into a better place for everyone.
His career was given a push by Bobi Wine, who recruited him to Fire Base after exhibiting his capabilities at a talent search.
Ever since Zex, has never looked back as he debuted his breakthrough song during the Covid-19 lockdown dubbed Ratata which received massive airplay.
His blockbusters like Wikid, Nalinda, and Hercules EP, saw this Bobi Wine protégé establish a strong music grip and broadened fan base.

Zex Bilangilangi hopes to hold a festival to honour his musical career at a location that has not yet been disclosed.
The self-proclaimed Ghetto Prime Minister set 26th August 2023 as the festival date, and entrance is Ugx 20,000. Upon sharing the festival poster, many of the singer’s fans and fellow celebrities have already shown interest in the event.
