Dynamic girl duo, Kataleya and Kandle real names Namakula Hadijah and Nabatuusa Rebecca Robins have opened up on what has kept them stuck together as close friends and music partners for so long without any scandals about their private life breaking out into the media.
The duo who now rebranded to K and K Music spoke to the press, revealing that they have disagreements just like anybody else but choose to talk it out to avoid scandals that would tarnish their image and ruin their career.
“We are human and get disagreements just like everyone else but we do not put it out there. We never blow out at each other because we know where we have come from. Every time we have a disagreement, we always look at the future because we have not got to where we want. It doesn’t make sense if we fight now. So, we just sit down and talk it out,”K and K Music said, denying accusations that they have ever had a physical fight.
Kataleya and Kandle went on a music break after falling out with their management Theron Music in November 2023 and one of the reasons was because the label owner, Kalemera David had installed secret cameras inside their apartment to monitor them. The unfortunate events unfolded only three months after the release of their ‘Call It Love’ EP.
After all the drama, netizens thought the girls had finally broken up until their post in May, announcing their comeback onto the music scene with a brand-new name and away from their former management.
They have assured their fans that they are here to stay because they have a legacy to build.

“People talked a lot saying we will not stay long. We will fight and eventually break up. We are not here to prove people wrong or that we are still friends because people wanted us to split but we want to set an example for someone out there and have something to our names. Just like you see other big artists who made a name. There is no way Radio and Weasel never had disagreements,” K and K Music said.
