Events promoter Abitex Promotions has ranked Jeff Kiwa as the best talent manager in the Ugandan music industry.
After witnessing and interacting with different music managers in the industry throughout his career, Abitex Promotions concluded that Jeff Kiwa had mastered the art of the business.
The events guru confessed during an interview where he analysed the artists who have achieved great success under Jeff Kiwa’s guidance.
Abitex claimed that Jeff’s knowledge of the industry and management skills are responsible for what Jose Chameleone and Goodlyfe are today.
“He is the most respected manager in Uganda and we are privileged to have him here. Goodlyfe’s music is still trending up to date like they are still together and active because of him. People loved them together but when Radio died, Weasel lost hope,” he said.
Abitex also termed Jeff as the kind of artist with the ability to start up a bussing artist’s career and be able to put them on top of the music map in a period of six months.
He gave an example of Ava Peace, who started doing music back in the day but only got her big breakthrough after she joined Jeff Kiwa’s camp. Jeff played a crucial role in this significant milestone.
“Ava Peace was nowhere. Being an upcoming artist doesn’t mean you are young in age. We only start calling you an artist after your breakthrough. When she was under Mudra, we knew her as a random artist who just collaborated with him. The moment she joined TNS is when we recognized her,” Abitex stated.
