Following his arrest on robbery-related charges, fast rising artist Fik Gaza has made a statement on his social media alleging that he has been set up.
In a post made earlier on his Facebook page, Fik Gaza denied the robbery charges against him, claiming he was a victim of a plan that was devised to ruin his career and reputation.
“Let me make this clear,they’re trying to take me down,obvious! I’ve just been informed that there’s a plot to to arrest me on false charges.It’s clear someone is trying to sabotage my career and reputation.”
Fik Gaza and his mates were arrested in a police raid conducted at his home in Katwe following a rise in robbery attacks in the area. During the operation, police recovered pangas, military uniforms, and suspected narcotics, leading to their arrest.
Despite the evidence found at his residence, Fik Gaza insists he is innocent and that this is all a ploy by his haters to ruin his career.
The singer went on to claim that the charges against him were all fabricated and called out those he believes are responsible for this plan.
“I’m calling out all the liars and the haters.I know who you are and I know what you’re trying to do but I’m not afraid,I’m standing strong and I’m fighting for the truth.”

The singer concluded his post with an appeal to his fans; he asked for their support during this time and urged them to spread the truth about his arrest.
