After holding a successful Enkudi Festival, singer Yasin Mukasa alias Lil Pazo Lunabe has noted that all the proceeds he got will be used to clear the huge debt that he had acquired before the show.
Over the weekend, Lil Pazo Lunabe held the ‘Enkudi Beach Festival’ at Aero Beach, Entebbe, and party animals did not disappoint him as they turned up in big numbers to jam to one of the biggest and most controversial songs in the country right now.
However massive the turn-up was, Lil Pazo Lunabe maintains that he did not reap a fortune out of the concert and will use the ‘little’ he earned to repossess his car, which he had put as collateral to acquire a loan and the event organizer who hadn’t yet been cleared.
People were just helping me. I was drowning in debt. I have just saved my car cleared the entire bill and got my card. Everything was on loan from the stage. I had to put money together and collect every penny to avoid going to prison. But I want to thank my fans for supporting me, I will not embarrass them,” he said.
This was Lil Pazo Lunabe’s first-ever solo concert and fellow artists including Kabako, Martha Mukisa, Spice Diana, and Mikie Wine among others came through to support him.
The highlight of the night was when Irene Ntale with whom they have been making headlines about having crushes for each other stepped on stage. This sent the huge crowd ablaze with cheers and chants.
After the show, Lil Pazo revealed that they are working on a music project together dubbed ‘Kabo Ka Muwala’ which is set to be released soon.
