Singer Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso has joined the growing number of musicians eyeing 2023 as the year to hold their concerts.
At the beginning of 2022, Pallaso revealed that he was expecting to hold a two-day concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The event was set to take place on July 1st and 2nd, 2022, and the artist had begun preparations with a statewide tour.
However, the event didn’t happen as initially planned, following the singer hurting his knee while performing at Hotel La Grande hotel on Easter Sunday.
This saw Pallaso undergo surgery and performed the rest of his shows that were booked prior to his injury seated in a wheelchair.
Pallaso later went public, revealing that the event will not take place as previously announced and that he would announce a new date later.
Based on the singer’s most recent revelation, the long wait appears to be over.
Earlier today, Pallaso disclosed to the media that come 2023, he will be celebrating his music career with his fans in a concert.
The Team Good Music singer has picked 9th June 2023 as the date he will be thrilling his concert-thirsty fans with both his old and new music.
Dubbed ”African Kings concert”, Pallaso has already secured Lugogo Cricket Oval and the countdown is already on.
More issues, such as concert taxes and others, are still being kept under wraps, but the artist will address them in his subsequent address.
The development comes just a few months after the singer bitterly fell out with his manager, Karma Ivien, who, through his attorneys, announced his intention to sue the singer for breach of contract.
