Musician Rahmah Pinky has addressed her wedding photos with a strange man that went viral years back.
During her one-on-one interview with Uncut, Pinky explained that her mother, together with her family, connived to have her get married to the said gentleman against her will.
Being a teenager, Pinky strongly objected to her family’s decision because she wanted to live her own life, but her betrothed man allegedly kidnapped and kept her at his house for a long time.
Every time she tried to escape, he would hunt her down with the help of the police because he wanted to marry her forcefully.
Contrary to reports that she had officially been married in the Muslim religion, Pinky revealed that she ran away before they could exchange their vows.

While describing the man who was seeking her hand in marriage, the TNS singer emphasized that he was a non-practicing Muslim who had only changed because of the family he wanted to marry into.
Pinky further revealed that she completely cut off communication with him and is not interested in his whereabouts.
I’m not married and never was. They forced it, but it never happened because I never loved him. I was very young, and his approach was not okay.
I don’t even want to know about him. For the photos, that is the only content they captured, but the wedding did not happen because I ran away. That is where it all stopped. We all do not know what is happening in each other’s lives,” she said.

Pinky, who has consistently mentioned that she is twenty years old, made it clear that she has no plans of getting married but would welcome it if it happened.
“I do not plan for my future; I leave all that to God, and if he decides I should, I will. But personally, I do not want to get married,” Pinky concluded.
