Renowned Ugandan singer and songwriter Ray Signature, real name Raymond Joseph Mugerwa, has opened up about his long hiatus from the music scene.
In an interview with Spark TV, Ray Signature revealed that he has been focusing on his interior design business and his other passion, making art.
The ‘Kasenyanku’ hitmaker shared that he remained active behind the scenes writing songs for other artists like Irene Ntale despite his break from recording music.
The singer confirmed that he will return to the music scene this year with a brand new single. He, however, didn’t disclose the exact release date but assured his supporters that he is working on fresh music and exciting collaborations.

He has songs in the works with artists like Eddy Kenzo, Irene Ntale, and Lillian Mbabazi, and known for his songwriting prowess, fans can expect well-crafted and soulful hits.
