Biggie Events, one of the Events companies, is facing a major blow after two top managers at the company announced their resignation.
In the letters dated 26th March 2025, Kayanja Annet and Najib Yunus, formerly working as Managing Director and Manager at Biggie Events, respectively, made known their exit before praising how rewarding and enriching their journey has been with the company.
According to sources, there is an allegation that the owner, Mariam Mutakubwa, is struggling with a very large debt that is greatly affecting the company’s operations.
Other sources alleged that Mutakubwa had received a huge amount of money from the government, and instead of sharing it with her counterparts, she kept it to herself. Out of disappointment and frustration, they decided to throw in the towel.

Mariam Mutakubwa has yet to address the resignations and allegations surrounding the company.
