Ever since Kato Lubwama fled the country to Turkey for further treatment, news from the hospital has been indicating that the former Rubaga South MP is in a very bad state.
Days back, his caretakers in Turkey revealed that they were financially unstable, yet the patient’s medical bill was skyrocketing.

This compelled Kato’s friends to solicit funds from well-wishers to see that his medical bill is footed hustle free.
Throwing more light on Kato’s situation, one of his friends Kampala Central MP Muhammad Nsereko in an interview with Sanyuka TV’s Uncut show revealed that Kato Lubwama’s situation is not alarming as earlier alleged by his caretakers.
Nsereko further noted that Kato Lubwama’s medical bill is not that high to call for fundraising from the public as the latter has been paying for the time he has spent in the hospital.
He asserted that even when the bill towers, Kato’s friends are there and willing to help in case the situation gets out of order.
