Rapper Keko talks about her friendship with Sheebah Karungi revealing it stemmed from the “How We Do It” original song release unfortunately it didn’t last long.
Keko reveals that Sheebah had a longstanding desire to meet her and this was actualized by rapper Don MC Kapata.
“Sheebah always believed in what she was doing, and even now, she still has that work ethic (of being a relentless performer).”
As time progressed, the two started going in different directions, with Sheebah being signed by Jeff Kiwa, a decision that rubbed Keko the wrong way.
“She signed to somebody that I would say was not a fan of mine.” Keko expressed. As a friend, Keko felt betrayed by Sheebah’s decision to continue with the same manager but she’s glad things worked out for them.
The rapper reached out to Sheebah following her return, suggesting that they join efforts on a music project. However during an interview, Sheebah trashed talked her leaving her disappointed.
“I saw her in an interview talking crazy, and I said, ‘Okay, this is not the person I spoke to three weeks ago.’Are you bipolar? Do you still have issues?”

Keko said she has long moved past the drama. “It’s been a long time, and I don’t hold on to such issues.” The rapper expressed that she doesn’t want any drama and thinks they could simply be acquaintances since they’re both in the music industry.
