Nigerian singer Oxlade real Ikuforiji Abdulrahman Olaitan has come out and shed light on why he failed to perform at the Top Boy Entertainment organized event at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
On 11 November 2022, Oxlade was expected to perform alongside Jamaican singer Beanie Man, Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, and Azawi among others.
However, Oxlade’s fans in the country were dealt a severe blow when the artist refused to perform when his time approached.
The mammoth revelers who had gathered for the event were left perplexed, wondering why the singer had not performed despite being in the country.
Before their queries could be attended to, the singer took to Twitter and issued a statement detailing why he didn’t perform.
According to the statement, Oxlade revealed that before flying into the country, he signed a booking agreement with the promoter, and both parties were required to fulfill their responsibilities.

To his surprise, the Top Boy Entertainment CEO violated the contract by failing to pay for his services.
The singer went on to stress that as if that was not enough, the promoter went ahead to cancel his return flight to Nigeria.
Furthermore, the statement implies that the promoter owes Ugandans an explanation for his absence last night.
Oxlade assured Ugandans a show in a soon be communicated dates.
