Sheebah Karungi has opened up on a fascinating phenomenon, claiming there is a strange force that takes hold of her every time she steps on stage to perform. Music fans who have watched the self-proclaimed Queen Karma on stage, know her as a talented star with electrifying performances.
According to her, every time she performs, a mysterious energy consumes her, transforming her into a completely different person.
Going by her performances, Sheebah Karungi’s alter-ego is confident, bold, and, charismatic, easily commands the attention of the audience with ease. But as soon as she steps off the stage, the force disappears, leaving her to return to her normal introverted self.
“All performers know that when you step on stage, you are not the same person. Something like a passion, the thrill, the audience, and the music that you are doing, something that you can’t explain takes over. Immediately you step off stage, you go back to being normal. I’m Sheebah Karungi on stage and back home, I’m just Samalie, a normal person who loves real conversations,” she revealed.
Sheebah describes herself as a reserved person who loves enjoying quiet activities alone like watching movies or being in the company of the very few people she is used to, contrary to her stage personality which is flamboyant and outgoing.
She reveals that these two personas are completely different and separated by day and night, never influencing each other.

“I’m a normal person – I love watching movies. On my own, I’m an introvert. The difference between the artist versus the personal character is day and night. They do not connect at all. I do not like dressing up like this, doing makeup and all but when it is time to step into my artist side, I do that. During the day, I just want to be chill,” she lamented.
