The world mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth II, who breathed her last on Thursday afternoon.
Queen Elizabeth II’s death was confirmed by Buckingham Palace through a statement that was shared on Twitter.
The development comes hours after the Palace announced the Queen’s medical challenges before revealing that she was under strict medical care.
Before the digestion of the availed information, reports surfaced suggesting that Queen’s children and grandchildren travelled to be by her death bed.
Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest son addressed the country, revealing that her mother’s death is a moment of great sadness for him and all his family members.
“I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.” Charles jotted in his statement.

It should be remembered that Queen Elizabeth II took her place on the throne at the age of 25 after the untimely death of her father King George VI.
