Singer Fik Gaza has confirmed that he is currently in the studio working on a collaboration with former nemesis, Alien Skin dubbed ‘Habibi’ following their reunion.
Earlier last week, social media was awash with news about their reconciliation, and among the many wishes by their fans was to have them working on a song together, a promise they fulfilled in the shortest time.
While many are looking forward to their relationship, some music fans who had already picked sides between these two camps were left heartbroken on how they would deal with the fact that their idol is working with their former enemy.
Fik Gaza instead preached unity and encouraged his fans to look up to him and focus on his music instead of fueling battles that he says are not profitable.
“My fans should follow me. People rather spread videos about chaos than send the same promoting your song. They love spreading negativity but you will never see them pushing meaningful music,” he said.
Since their terrible fallout more than two years ago, Fik Gaza and Alien Skin have been exchanging unpleasantries in the media and every time they shared the same space, it was always war.
Fik Gaza revealed that he thought about it and realized that the feud would not take their careers anywhere and decided to make peace.
“Even when we fight, no one wins; it’s just what people want. They feel that when they post about Fangone clashing with Gaza, they will get so many likes and grow their accounts. But there is nothing we gain from that besides people fake-hailing us for attacking the other party, so as to grow their accounts,” Fik Gaza noted.

Fik Gaza further gave an example of when social media users accused him of abandoning the struggle and siding with the ruling party after he had visited Balaam’s office. They ignored the main reason why he had gone there; which was to lobby for scholastic materials for children in the ghetto.
