Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi has opened up about what transpired at the Ministry of Internal Affairs a few weeks back.
At the start of this month, Winnie Nwagi was the talk of the town following a video clip portraying her being bounced from internal affairs premises made rounds on social media.
The saga saw the singer’s father swing in her defense, revealing that there could be a sabotager who seemingly feels good whenever his daughter is caught on the wrong side of the law.
Appearing in an interview at Karole Kasita’s album listener’s party at Imperial Royale Hotel, Winnie Nwagi opened up about what really went down at Internal Affairs.
Winnie Nwagi revealed that before she made her way to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, her plans were to go to the gym.
However, her manager rang her midway through her journey to the gym and urged her to pass by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and renew her passport.
The singer adds that she was unaware that her outfit would be deemed indecent by the Ministry officials.
Nwagi, however, is glad that she managed to get her passport renewed with the help of her team.
The Mataala crooner maintained that she holds no grudge against the female security official who ill-treated her.
